Co-Founded carbon management consulting service that served as the United States’ exclusive licensee for ClimateSafe, the nation’s only official certification mark for carbon neutral products and services. Designed and executed consumer and corporate branding and marketing campaign. Fostered strategic partnerships with corporate, governmental and non-profit organizations to build support for ClimateSafe standards.

Marketing & Strategic Program Consultant

Spectrum Health

Oversaw strategic planning programs for expansion and acquisition ventures totaling over $170 million, including projects such as the Fred and Lena Meijer Heart Center, an outpatient radiology center, and a large ER expansion. Authored and defended State of Michigan Certificate of Need applications for new service and expansion projects totaling over $130 million. Recruited by organization’s C-Suite executives to lead strategic projects, including revamping the system’s Physician Relations Program database and authoring a CON Legislative position paper for the CEO.

United Health Care Services

Served as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer with direct P & L responsibility for the business unit. Directed the organization’s corporate strategy and public relations activities.  Responsibilities included driving marketing strategy and ensuring all aspects of the marketing and promotional mix (direct marketing, advertising, PR, etc.) were aligned with business objectives. Oversaw the coordination of all marketing plans and messages, including  the creation of customer sales presentations and collateral development.  Managed the physician relations, corporate sales and customer service departments. Responsible for developing customer sales presentations, collateral materials and sales force training or education programs.
